The winner of the 2007 FWF Boating Sweepstakes - Mr. Curtis Thompson of Hudson, FL with his brand new Angler Bay 2000. |
For 17 years the Florida Wildlife Federation's Annual Boating Sweepstakes has provided valuable funding in support of fish and wildlife conservation in Florida. Since 1937, the Federation has represented the conservation interests of people who enjoy our state's tremendous resource-based oudoor opportunities. If you take pleasure in fishing, hunting, camping, boating, canoeing, kayaking, biking, hiking, wildlife watching and more, the Federation is working for you. Taking part in FWF's Annual Boating Sweepstakes makes it possible for us to do even more to protect and enhance these vital outdoor activities.
For our part, we pledge to continue to use the proceeds from the Annual Boating Sweepstakes right here in Florida to pursue vital initiatives from Pensacola to Key West, including wetlands protection, clean air and water efforts, responsible outdoor recreation, Lake Okeechobee and Everglades restoration, public land acquisition and management, conservation of marine fish and wildlife resource and improved management of floodwater discharges to protect our fragile coastal estuaries.
