Friday, June 22

Captain Dan Kipnis, an ardent fisheries conservationist, discusses Global Warming
and its effect on Florida's environment and its natural resources.

Following cocktails and hors d'oeuvres, Captain Dan Kipnis will lead a spectacular, 30 minute presentation on the future of Florida's environment. Based in part on Al Gore's global warming presentation, Captain Kipnis incorporates unique underwater video, trophy catch photos and advanced scientific modeling to demonstrate the issues Florida must face in the future. A former Charter Captain and Past-President of the Miami Beach Rod and Reel Club, Kipnis serves on the FWF Board of Directors and the South Florida Climate Change Task Force.

Following the presentation, a Live Auction fundraiser will be held to benefit the conservation activities of the Federation. There will also be plenty of door prizes and raffles. We hope to see you there!

Art Exhibits with FWF's featured artist Peter R. Gerbert and Nancy Jacey

"Great Blue Moon" copyright Peter R. Gerbert

We are celebrating our 10 year partnership with Peter R. Gerbert as FWF's Featured Artist! Peter has some fantastic new works of art celebrating Florida's special animals and landscapes. This will be FWF's largest art show ever, with guest artist Nancy Jacey joining Peter on both evenings. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of art will directly benefit the conservation efforts of the Federation.

There will also be educational displays and more.

Please see a complete schedule for more information.
