There is a movement to remove Bison and Wild Horses from Paynes Prairie Preserve State Park in Gainesville, Florida.

“This winter, the state plans to forge ahead with thinning of the bison herd at Paynes Prairie Preserve State Park through the removal of all adult males.”
A a current poll shows that Bison are public visitors favorite animal to see when visiting the park.
Park Service authorities are concerned because the Bison adult males continue to leave the park, causing safety issues for the public.

Typical move by the FWC, kill whatever animal they deem an issue. We have about 12 acres around there you can put Buffalo on.
Only if there are younger males to eventually fill the void. And, only if the older males are relocated and NOT killed!
